Some aggrieved members of the community of Garrand, Babonneau have raised concerns about a construction site.
The residents claim stagnant water has accumulated at the alleged unattended work-site.
They fear that the untidy open space has created an environment conducive for a mosquito-breeding site.
The livid Garrand residents led by a member of the opposition UWP claim this is unacceptable, given the potential threat posed by the vector-borne illness, Zika, that has yet to arrive on St. Lucia’s shores.
