EU WANTS PM TO TAX FOREIGNERS

Despite efforts by the Saint Lucia government to comply with the European Union’s tax reform recommendations, the Allen Chastanet led administration, has again been placed on notice to do away with what the EU’s code of conduct group has flagged as ‘harmful’ tax policies. Saint Lucia has until December 31st, 2019, to make the amendments or risk further EU sanctions.
