ECCB GOVERNOR, REDUCE CRIME BY REDUCING CASH

The Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) says member states should consider reducing the use of cash by 50 percent over the next five years.

Timothy Antoine says this is one way of tackling crime – a grave concern for many OECS member states.

Antoine spoke to members of the Saint Lucia media on 31 January.
