CRUISE SHIP QUARANTINED IN CASTRIES HARBOR DUE TO REPORT OF MEASLES INFECTED CREW MEMBER

The international spotlight has fallen on St. Lucia with the quarantined ship docked at Point Seraphine in Castries from Tuesday. The passengers and crew aboard the cruise ship, “Freewinds” have been barred from disembarking from the ship because of a confirmed case of measles on board the vessel. Given how easily measles is spread, the health authorities in Saint Lucia are taking the situation very seriously.
