CP Association sympathizes with grieving mother

The Cerebral Palsy (CP) Association of Saint Lucia says it sympathises with Tracey Joseph – the woman who lost her toddler over the weekend.
The toddler had one of the most severe forms of Cerebral Palsy and Joseph for two years had been on a mission to get him the best care possible, but she said local health officials did not do enough to assist her.
The association’s representatives say parents of children with cerebral palsy face daily challenges including stigma.
They are hoping that Tracey Joseph’s story will help improve public awareness and sympathy.
