Corporate Warefare Futsal Champs!

PRESS RELEASE: Gros Islet, Saint Lucia (December 15th, 2017): Corporate Warfare Futsal 2017 by TimeOut Entertainment has come to an end in grand fashion. From the media launch at the St. James Club Morgan Bay last October to the heated finals, last weekend, twenty-four teams representing various corporations descended onto the Beausejour Indoor Facility to vie for the coveted Futsal Cup, medals and cash prize awards. By the end of the night, PCD bested Windjammer to snag victory after three years of trying to retain the number one place. Team PCD won with 4 goals to 2, as Javier Charlouis scored an impressive hat trick followed by Tristan James’ final goal on the 32nd minute to claim victory. Earlier in the night, an enthusiastic WASCO took home third place with 4 goals after throttling Sandals in the third place match up.

Group G: Ark Teleservices |St Lucia Fire Service | Wasco

Group H: Caribbean Metals | 1st National Bank St Lucia Courts


The event sponsors attributed the successes to the amazing organization, timely communication and professional manner in which organisers and teams responded to correspondence.

A massive ‘Thank You’ goes out to the events sponsors Guinness, Courts, Climax, KFC, St James’s Club Morgan Bay, Flow and AdVizze Consulting Inc who have indicated their willingness to be part of the initiative which has already developed some strong roots in the community.

According to TimeOut Entertainment Co-Founder Mr. John, “We were very impressed with the level of professionalism and preparedness showed by the teams who participated this year and are already planning next year’s event which will be even bigger and better by all account.” He added that he is excited of the prospect of taking futsal into more communities and using it as more than a tool for the development of health & wellness and corporate camaraderie, but as a means of fostering positive life skills in risk individuals through sport and positive interactions.

This year, the competition included showcase matches with the media and artistes fraternities coming together to face off in what became one of the most exhilarating matches.  On the finals day, an All-Star exhibition made up of the best from teams already cut from the competition played together under the Guinness and KFC banners to the elation of the packed indoor facility. Fans were able to interact with the various players and win prizes as well. The big winner on the night of a 32” TV compliments Courts was Simeon Lewis.

  • Most Goals: Trophy and $300 (Winners Tyson Fedee and Richard Annius)
  • Finals MVP: Trophy and $400 (Winner Javier Charlouis)
  • Golden Glove: Trophy and $300 (Winner Andre Marquis)
