A closing ceremony was held for the 2018 Cocoa Cola Island Cup at the St. Lucia Football Association’s (SLFA) office on Monday.
Among those present were the president of the SLFA Lyndon Cooper, Vice President of the Gros Islet Football League Charde Desire, and Junia Haynes, who is a representative of the brand Cocoa Cola.
The tournament was held under the them, ‘Propelling St. Lucia to higher heights’.
Hosts Marchand were applauded for setting a high standard as the venue for the competition. They were also crowned the 2018 SLFA Cocoa Cola Island Cup champions after defeating Mabouya Valley 4-1 in the finals. More in this report.
