CHIEF VET SAYS NO SWINE FLU IN ST LUCIA

Saint Lucia’s chief veterinarian is hoping to allay public and farmers’ fears over the safety of pork, amid swine flu concerns.
Dr. Auria King-Cenac says local pork is safe for consumption. She has made it clear that the H1N1 presently circulating in humans, is not originating from pigs.
