Saint Lucia’s chief veterinarian is hoping to allay public and farmers’ fears over the safety of pork, amid swine flu concerns. Dr. Auria King-Cenac says local pork is safe for consumption. She has made it clear that the H1N1 presently circulating in humans, is not originating from pigs.
