Calls For More Support In The Fight Against COPD

Saint Lucians suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and their families recently joined health experts to learn how they can enhance the quality of care for patients and deal with the challenges of the disease.
They also learned about what medical experts say is the destructive and all too common practice of combining cigarette and marijuana smoking.
The organizers of the session say COPD, which is preventable, is claiming too many lives.
