50 Saint Lucian students will have the opportunity to pursue law and business degrees in the United Kingdom, through the collaborative efforts of R.I.S.E St. Lucia Inc and the British Caribbean Chamber of Commerce.
The announcement was made at a press conference at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College on Thursday.
Chamber President John Kennedy says the body is pleased to be part of this substantial educational opportunity for young Saint Lucians.
Dr. Stephen King says a United Kingdom education is out of the reach of many Saint Lucian students.
He is encouraging students to take advantage of this opportunity.
Under this scheme, the BPP University will provide full tuition scholarships for the duration of the course.
However, there will be a requirement for successful students to meet only their living costs and transportation.
