Bishop urges CARICOM to resist US same-sex law

Conservative church leaders are speaking out against the United States supreme court’s landmark ruling, which legalizes same-sex marriage across America.
They are seeking public assistance to ensure same-sex marriage does not become a reality in the region.
The head of the Pentecostal assemblies of the West Indies Saint Lucia district, is hoping to get 20,000 signatures, as part of an online petition to submit to CARICOM heads at their meeting on July 2nd in Barbados.
He is calling on the faithful to ensure that ‘marriage’ is not redefined.
