Ministers from the Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL) have ended their council meeting with agreements that will usher in a new era in protection and redress for telecoms consumers.
The Ectel council of ministers has approved the electronic communications bill, which among other things, addresses consumer protection regulations, retail pricing, wholesale pricing and unfair competition.
