ADVOCATE WORRIED ABOUT COVID-19 SEXUAL VIOLENCE

The reported sexual assault of a single mother has thrust the issue of sexual violence into the spotlight, as the united nations warns of an increase in violence against women amid the covid-19 lock-down. Women’s rights activist Catherine Sealys is calling on authorities in Saint Lucia to put measures in place to protect at-risk women and children.
